Tonight- exhausted- the boys and I fell onto Carter’s bed to read Danny Dunn and the Homework Machine. I was so tired I could barely make out the words on the page. While I read, Carter played with Archie’s foot and Archie chuckled.
After three chapters, we turned out the lights and Carter wrapped my arm around him and said, “I love you, Mommy.” Both boys fell asleep in my arms.
*sigh*
