A Ph.D student in informatics at Indiana University, Kevin is rich in spirit. He wrestles and reads with his kids, does a hilarious Christian Slater imitation and lights up his wife's days. He thinks deeply about many things, including but not limited to basketball, politics, microblogging, parenting, online communities, complex systems and design theory. He didn't, however, think up this profile.

For those interested in collective content and visualization, here is a site that manages both pretty well. The site presentation is a bit cluttered when you start voting for things that are the “best” in the world, but otherwise it’s worth a look. You can add new Best things or simply vote on things already added. Once in there, it gives Amazon-like “people who liked this, liked that” kinds of links.

Well, there are some wrinkles in the scheme. I browsed the pictoral map on the front page and found Willow Rosenberg, listed as Best Buffy Character and Best Witch. I happen to be a fan of Spike, so I made an adjustment to my vote for the former. I found up voting for this.
