A Ph.D student in informatics at Indiana University, Kevin is rich in spirit. He wrestles and reads with his kids, does a hilarious Christian Slater imitation and lights up his wife's days. He thinks deeply about many things, including but not limited to basketball, politics, microblogging, parenting, online communities, complex systems and design theory. He didn't, however, think up this profile.

The whole setup of the 43 Best Blogs is probably worth a post all its own, but for now I’ll just thank that communal site for bringing me to The Community Guy. It is written by Jake McKee, a former community builder for LEGO now working for a Texas social media consultant. He’s got some interesting things to say on community building.
The list, of course, has yet to get enough iterations to be the list of top blogs. After all, until I corrected it, the 43 Best TV Shows didn’t include either Buffy or Veronica.
