Driving Vocabulary

by Amy Makice

In her defense, Bad Mommy drove for many, many hours with two kids in the car, and driving in the southern states is intrinsically frustrating.

About five hours after our anticipated arrival time, while we were still maneuvering through Southern Florida highways, and two hours after Bad Mommy had reached her limit, Archie asked:

“Mommy? What’s an asshole?”

Carter responded:

“She’s not going to tell you. I can tell by the look on her face.”

Welcome back :) Glad to see you made it home safely, if a bit worse for wear in the frazzlement department…gosh, those rules for Southern driving seem to apply to NJ roads, too!

Carter and Archie really ought to charge for the comedy show - it’s one way fund college ;-)
