Do you remember?

Much like Chris Farley’s Talk Show (Do you remember when you wrote “Hey Jude?” That was cool), only usually Archie’s questions are about something that happened an hour ago.

Archie: (directly after music class) Do you remember when we sang in music class?
Me: umm, yes.
Archie: and do you remember when we danced?
Me: yes. that too.

Today I had to wake him up to go pick up Carter from school, so I slapped on the ergo and reached down to transition Archie from the couch to the carrier.

Archie: (sleepily) This feels nice! I like this. (Snuggles in) Mommy? Do you remember when I was just a baby and was in your belly? This is what that felt like.

A true testament to the ergo, despite my severe misgivings about their latest product.

OMG that bottle sling is…undescribable!! And I am not even a loony about this stuff! What’s up with the statement: ‘traditional bottle propping techniques’?

Meanwhile…that comment by Archie made me melt :-)
