During playgroup a few weeks back a random dog wandered into my friend’s yard. Not wanting to further traumatize her kitty, who had recently endured the death of her sibling, she debated for some time over how to contain the lost dog until his owners came to claim him.

Eventually, it was decided that the kitty would have to grin and bear it, because the dog would rest within her territory in the dog crate. Below are the pictures of the kitty, “grinning and bearing it.” If there were sound files, you’d be able to hear the dog barking and calling out for help, as Liesl exercises her inherent cat curiosity.
