Things have been crazy this week- a new level of sibling rivalry, new levels of mama fatigue, and lots of daddy missage. We’ve been trying to send pictures daily, but I slacked some, and I don’t want to -a-hem- adjust the date of the post.
Anyway, after lots of you-live-on-the-mulch/island, and I-live-on-the-trampoline/houseboat-we-can-visit-when-firemonsters-attack play, a bath was in order. I find it hard to get them both to smile at the same time- so here are a few attempts:

A few random fun conversations from the past few days:
Me: (upon briefly, and only temporarily recovering my sense of smell): I can smell! I can smell again!!!
Carter: Good. Now we won’t have to call the psychiatrist.
and Archie, giving me pointers on survival without Daddy:
Me: Want some French toast for breakfast?
Archie: We can’t have that. Daddy isn’t here. (stops to think for a minute) You should get used to not having it. He’s gone for a long time.
sigh. One more week.
