Meg gave Kevin and me an early anniversary present- lunch out on our own and a private yoga session. Our Yoga lesson was awesome- I felt strong and relaxed all at the same time and can’t wait to return with Meg during one of our future visits. Kevin and I are even thinking about finding a place here to practice.

We enjoyed our day- as well as the following Sox game- but the most memorable quote came from the Yoga instructor, who was asking what sorts of things we’d like in our time together. She listed strength, meditation, aerobics, focus, relaxation- then she said:

“I met your kids at the pool with Meg this morning– would you like something (pause with serene and welcoming smile) restorative?”

Well, sheesh, they seemed like perfectly normal (and sweet) boys to me, but hey, restorative is always good :)

I’m so glad we got a chance to meet you guys. Now I just wish we lived closer so we could play in the park more often…

    Happy early anniversary!
