Today when I picked up Archie, he was very excited to take me inside the classroom to see his artwork. Hanging on the wall was a stick-figure painted in bold blue strokes.
Me: Wow, Archie, that is very real-looking.
Archie: Well, I’m a good painter. Not a good drawer, but a good painter.

Archie: Hmm. Yeah, well, it’s a dog.
Let that be a lesson to any who would deign to guess the contents of an early childhood painting.
