Carter: So. The moon will eventually run out of our gravity. (thinking) The moon will be gone.
Me: The moon will be gone?
Carter: But, the Sun will flare out before the moon loses earth’s gravity, so the moon and the earth will be gone before the moon would even have been close to leaving us.
