The tree is decorated, as of 7:15p Saturday. At the time of my tweet lamenting the state of the tree, we had a star on top, two new owl ornaments from my mom, and a stuffed white bear (probably Archie's contribution). Our evening of decorating had also been preempted by some miscommunication over when, exactly, presents get opened during the holiday season, so it didn't look promising. Happy to report that Amy and Meg found the big-ass colored lights, and the boys dutifully obliged with a quick teethbrushing so they could help make the tree more festive. Feral Santa, it seems, has fallen below tree decorating and present wrapping in the hierarchy of possible nighttime activities as we near the big day. Just as soon as she gives me back my camera, I will do that.
