Thus far, Carter has been much more of an uber users - comparatively - than his younger brother. Archie likes watching, sometimes taunting, and is currently much more interested in drawing pictures and playing with plastic animals.

BTW, note the improper use of the wiimote strap in the above picture. We did have (at least) one incident where the device ended up colliding with the wall just below the oh-we-so-can't-replace-it television. Whew.

I've spent altogether too much time gaming in my life and my four year old seems to have inherited the bug! Though we've had to ban GameCube (and hence no Wii yet) until he learns to switch it off when he's told without throwing a tantrum. We also found that it was definitely NOT something to let him near in the four hours before bedtime.

God, I want a Wii, though.

I can sympathsize as well, I used to be a big gamer in the days of sega genesis, intellevision, and the first nintendo but then I stopped.

When the Wii came out and I experienced how much fun gaming was in real space using natural gestures, I was hooked. Luckily I don't have a Wii 30 feet away from me in Bloomington.

<!--%kramer-pre%-->Dave Carter wrote an interesting post today onWe WiiHere’s a quick excerpt More than likely I’m going to come home early evening each weekday to find one or both the boys regularly throwing 300 games in Wii Sports bowling, the game of choice thus far for Carter. Archie is a boxing man, although he<!--%kramer-post%-->

<!--%kramer-pre%-->A long time ago, in an operating system far, far away, I was a gamer. Thanks to Santa, I fear I’m headed that way again.
