I had to "watch" the IU-Minnesota game on CSTV's GameTracker, which had a 2-minute lag for most of the game from the ESPN score updates (which I turned off with about 10 minutes remaining). I turned off Twitter, too, when it became clear that there was going to be something special about the end. Then I had to wait 18 minutes—6 of which came with 1 second on the clock—before the final shot.

<a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=MJoxGpEswOI" target="_new" rel="nofollow">Look familiar</a>, anyone?

I hope anyone advising Eric Gordon on his future saw this game. His performance since Sampson left is probably worth two more college seasons.
