A few pictures from our trip to Chicago.
Overheard on Twitter
We’ve worked at keeping track of those precious kid conversations over the years- but it’s hard to take the time. Twitter has made it even easier because I can jot down the smaller tidbits that would otherwise get lost.
Questions for Jimmy Carter
Has he ever met George Washington? Does he play Packrat? Is he excited about Spore? Does he have a question for me? Inquiring minds want to know.
The League of Extraordinary Kids
Carter: (waving a big stick) This is my staff of leadership.
Robby: So, does that mean you’re the president?
Carter: Well, we could vote. . . .
Birth Order
Archie: Are we going to have another baby? Will it come from Aunt Meg?
Kevin: What?
A little Pops
Archie was captured playing the violin at one of the kids exhibits at Picnic with the Pops at Ivy Tech Community College. After Amy played with the Community Band, we skipped the fireworks in favor of a drive-in double feature at the Starlite.
Conversations of Olympian Proportions
Assimilation at its best. Piaget would love watching my boys make meaning.
