Closing Open Tabs

Twitter. Social Networks. Academic interests. News and information. Media and entertainment. Tools. My browser is full of ‘em.

Closing Open Tabs

My blogging routine continues to flounder in the wake of the opened throttle on my dissertation planning. Small steps will get me back on track, and so I present another cheap attempt to feel productive—a list of all of the browser tabs I currently have open.

Home Tweet Home

I have been tweeting since early March, just before Twitter exploded into the mainstream Internet with a strong showing at the South by Southwest conference. Since that time, I have followed the growing interest in the service and saving hundreds of links that I will try to process over the course of the next week. Over the next week, BlogSchmog will explore different aspects of Twitter based on eight months of use.

More Open Tabs

Closing Open Tabs

The downside to incorporating Google Reader and many, many RSS feeds into my life is that I have developed a habit of keeping too many tabs open in Firefox. I used to have to clear them out or leave my computer on in order to make use of them, prompting me to do some regular file keeping, but with a nifty browser extension that allows me to save my tab state, I don’t even do that with regularity. Here are some of the links I thought were interesting enough to pop open into a new link but not quite enough to add to my 135-deep draft queue for my blog.
