Today’s IDS reported a mostly-old-news update on Chris Soghoian‘s issues with TSA (), but there was this shoe dropped in the text:
Soghoian said he is disappointed with IU for its lack of support in this situation. He plans to finish his classes at IU for another year and then transfer to a different university to get his doctoral degree.
Too bad, if it’s true. Chris had mentioned a desire to do his dissertation in another country, but it would be a loss for IU (and him) if the Ph.D. wasn’t attached to the School of Informatics.
