The entire family was at Carter’s future elementary schools’ “learning fair.” As we sat in the cafeteria eating cupcakes and listening to 9 year olds sing Spanish songs, I noticed that both Kevin and Carter had deposited their cupcake papers in front of me.
Me: Hey. It’s going to look like I’m eating all that food. Keep your own papers.
Carter: (in loud stage voice) Mommmm! Why did you eat THREE CUPCAKES?
