I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up

Carter wants a motorized wheelchair.

I wasn’t fast enough with the remote during Carol Burnette reruns, and Carter saw an ad for electric wheelchairs.

Carter: I want one. (this is why we have Tivo, and don’t watch ads).
Me: Honey, they’re for people who can’t walk- like if they’re paralyzed.
Carter: What’s paralyzed?
Me: They can’t move their legs- they can’t walk.
Carter: How did he get that wheelchair?
Me: What?
Carter: It says to call.
Me: Yes. You call to order it.
Carter: How did he get the wheelchair if he couldn’t walk to the phone?

Help. I’ve fallen (into Conversation with Carter) and I can’t get out.
